You may have a site with outside contributors, but for whatever reason, you don't wish to have a login form present on the front end of your site.

It may be for aesthetic purposes, or for security reasons, but you can unpublish the Login Module, and it won't show up on the front end on any page.

So, if you want to edit from the front end, or have others be able to add or edit articles, this is absolutely possible.

Add /index.php?option=com_users&view=login to the end of your url. Like this example.

http://mysitename.com/index.php?option=com_users&view=login

This will bring up a login page with the login form in the middle of the page.

Send the entire address to you contributors and instruct them to bookmark that page (nobody is going to remember that entire string of letters).
